How many times have you said, “this is the time I get healthy, this is the time I lose the weight, or this is the time I make new habits.”? Someone once said he called this “getting re-serious.” How many times have you done this? You start strong, and then after a week or two...you give up. You break that promise that you made to yourself. Life gets hard and you just give up. This, by the way, is not your fault. This doesn’t make you weak. It’s actually quite normal, and it’s what our brain wants.
You see...changing your daily habits and becoming a healthier version of yourself - inside and out - is tough on your brain. BUT...and it’s a BIG BUT...here’s the good news. You can push past this and retrain your brain! It’s possible because I’ve done it. I know many who have also done this. Eventually, the new way of life with daily habits of exercising and eating clean food to fuel your body becomes your new normal. Your brain finally accepts this as the “easy way.” How fantastic is that?
I created The Fit Life with Jessica to help others achieve this "new normal" just as I have. You can either trudge this uphill path alone, or we can do it together.
